Employer Protect (EP)

Employer Protect provides employers with access to professional industrial relations, human resource management, and Occupational Health & Safety services (including court representation and investigation), at a very reasonable cost. Our service is designed to ensure that the impact of work related claims against employers by current or former employees is minimised and to provide tailored advocacy and representation to guarantee the best possible outcome.

Annual Retainer fee structure incl GST. Fees are based on the following levels :

IR Advocacy and Representation, before either the FWA or approved Tribunals on a flat fee basis for retainer clients to the conclusion of conciliation – unfair dismissals – all other matters negotiated on a flat fee. Court filing fees and disbursements are extra. Employer Protect Benefits

  • Telephone and Email Advisory Service . From 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday on any employment or related issues, including Workplace Relations, Modern Award interpretation , Workers Compensation, OH & S, Common Law Contracts, National Building Code, HR & ER issues including preparation of warning/dismissal letters — Advisory/ Guidance / Strategic Planning [No charge included in subscription].
  • Email Bulletins and Updates . The Bulletins provide articles about relevant workplace relations issues as well as analysis of recent cases & legislative changes.
  • Investigations (workplace), conduct of terminations, advice on worker’s compensation obligations, conduct of disciplinary matters (flat fee applies as negotiated).
  • Act as appointed ‘Bargaining Representative’ for Employers under the Fair Work Act
  • Assistance with compliance – Ensure compliance with relevant National and or Industry Codes of Conduct. Advice, research — no charge — filing/representation at cost.
  • Assistance with Independent Contractors and related matters ,including Common Law Contracts, FWA, Sham Contract provisions and Code Compliance. Fees apply.
  • Training and Development.
